Kevin Lee Lewis, Jr., 32, New Haven, CT resident born on September 20, 1982 to the late Kevin L. Lewis Sr. and Monique Harrell of New Haven, passed away suddenly on July 21, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Kevin was employed as a moving technician at JW Movers before his passing, but will be remembered for his talent as a rap artist and his always comical personality. He was also a dedicated parent and would do anything for his children. Including his mother he leaves behind to cherish his memory son Diondre Little and unborn son Kayden L. Lewis, daughter Kaylee Lewis, brothers Randy Cooke and Devon Yarbrough both of New Haven, and Jamar Freeman of NC, sister Shanita Tyson, paternal grand parents Valeria Mathis Riley Lewis and Conley Monk, special friends Dean Williams, Jermaine Mayo, Erica Little and a host of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by maternal grandmother Myrtes Harrell, and uncle Shannon Harrell. A celebration of his life will take place Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Matthew’s UFWB Church; 400 Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation Wednesday at the church from 9 – 11 AM.
