Kim Carmichael, 59

Dr. Kim D. Carmichael, 59, passed away January 31, 2018.

Pastor Kim was born to Helen McCaldwell Little and the late Frederick Little in New Haven, Connecticut. 

Dr. Carmichael was the pastor of Kingdom Love Center.

She was a native of New Haven who served faithfully with her husband, Bishop Frankie Carmichael, for 29 years. Her community is deeply saddened by the loss of this amazing asset to both God’s kingdom and New Haven and Hamden at large.

She leaves to cherish her memory; Bishop Frankie Carmichael husband of 38 years; sons, P.J. Carmichael (Chante) of Connecticut, Aqil Davidson of New York, Pastor Mark Vereen of Virginia; daughters, Minister Me’Shea Carmichael- Marks (Maurice) , Dr. Annette Wagner of Pennsylvania, Angela Newman of Connecticut; sisters, Betty Colemen (Hurie) of Connecticut, Vineta Watson (Leverne) of Virginia, Jocelyn Fagan (Nathaniel) of Florida, Kelly Cox of Connecticut; brothers, Douglas Bethea (Titiana), Frederick Little, Pete Cox, David Cox, Jason Cox all of Connecticut, and John Cox of Washington; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild and host of many relatives and friends.

She is predeceased by one sister, Michelle Reid.

A tribute to her life will take place Feb. 6, 2018 at 7 p.m., with visitation from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Kingdom Love Center Ministries; 335 Putnam Avenue, Hamden. A celebration of her Life will also be held at Kingdom Love Center Ministries. Interment will take place at Beaverdale Cemetery, Hamden. Services by Howard K.
