Lawrence R. Blakey, 76, of New Haven, passed away May 22.
He was born to the late Toliver Blakey and Effie Cunningham on Dec. 16, 1934, in Clifton Forge, Va.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 2, at 6 p.m. at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St.
