Leslie Kelson, Jr., 69

Leslie Kelson, Jr., 69, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2014.

He was the husband of Earlene Kelson. Born in Stockton, AL, August 22, 1945, he was the son of the late Leslie Kelson, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Stevens Kelson.

Mr. Kelson was a self-employed electrician for numerous years and was a member of Clinton AME Zion Church in Ansonia where he was a member of the choir and served as a Steward.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Valecia Williams and Dorothea and Brenda Kelson; a brother and five sisters; six grandchildren: Jabarre, Juwan and Jasmine Williams; DeJah, L’Dale and Bryan Kelson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mr. Kelson’s life and legacy will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Clinton AME Zion Church, 96 Central St., Ansonia. Burial will be in Stockton, AL.
