Luz S. Tapia, age 68, of New Haven, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Monday, December 31, 2012.
She was born in Puerto Rico and later relocated to New Haven. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughters and son-in-laws, Carmen and Rodney, Maria and Markus; two grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Epifanio Canales. A Celebration of her life will take place Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT. 06511. Friends may call Friday from 9 – 11AM at the Funeral Home.
