Lynon Milton, 43

Lynon ​“TJ” Boyd Milton, 43 of New Haven, CT passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 9, 2011.

Husband of Renee Milton and born to the late William Boyd Milton Sr. and Ethel L. Battle of Newport News, VA on January 6, 1968. ​“TJ” made a lasting impression on all that he met and knew. He was well known for bringing people together, being a peace maker and always had a way with words. A wonderful family man with a big heart for anyone in need of help. Among his many sayings, one that everyone will remember ​“T Chill never ran, never will”. TJ will forever be in our hearts. Besides his loving wife and mother, he leaves to cherish his memory; sons, Tyshon, Blake, Jaylyn, Ashton and Kobe; daughters, Lanesha, Ashley, Raven, Shayla, Deja, and Taylor; siblings, Wyndol (Lavetra) Milton of Atlanta, GA, Ethel Murphy, Carmen Milton, Coretta (Carlos) Rodriguez, Elizabeth Clarke, Leola Milton, all of VA, Sharon Pollock of Atlanta, GA, June (Jack) Smith and Kimberly Armenio both of New Haven, CT, Dinah (Robert) Kinney and Brittany Milton of Jacksonville, FL; special sister, Kathy Malachi of Meriden, CT; 3 grandchildren, maternal grandmother, Roberta Battle of Newport New, VA, 2 goddaughters, and a host of other family and friends. He was predeceased by brother, William Milton Jr. A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11AM at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, 285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511 with calling hours from 9 – 11AM. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
