Maetroyed Clemon-Jacobs, 56, of Parkside Drive in New Haven, passed away on July 9, 2013, at the Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was born on July 13, 1956 in New Haven, CT to Dorothy Clemon and the late Colie Lowman. Maetroyed was a kind hearted woman who would give her last to anyone in need. Besides her loving mother, she leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Nekia (Donnell) Hilton, Tamara Clemon both of New Haven; step-daughter, Ramona Jacobs of FL; brothers, Anthony Clemon of New Haven, Tyrone (Bernadette) Palmer of Bridgeport; sisters, Delores “Dee Dee” Robinson of New Haven, Fern (Michael) Cox of Patterson, NY., Sharon Lampley, Cherry Lampley, Ruth (Timothy) Lebron, all of Queens, NY., 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond Jacobs, daughter, Temara Clemon. A Celebration of her life will take place Friday, July 19, 2013 from 11AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Service, 1287 Chapel St. New Haven, CT. with calling hours, Friday from 9 – 11AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT.
