Manfredo Silva, 77, formerly of 135 Sylvan Ave., New Haven passed away Dec. 15, 2012.
He was the husband of Virginia Vesquez Silva. Mr Silva was born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico on Nov. 23, 1935. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Yale New Haven Hospital. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Wilfredo Silva of Meriden and Luis Roberto Silva of New Haven; five daughters, Ruth “Daisy” Colon of Hamden, Maria Elizabeth Tirado of New York, Sarahi Roman, Luz Nereida deJesus and Luz Virginia Martinez, all of West Haven; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Door of Salvation Pentecostal Church, 3 Arch St., New Haven Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm. Services begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Wednesday morning at 10:00 am.
