Marjorie V. Hinds, 77, of New Haven, passed away June 21.
She was born to the late Cleophas Bowen and Louise Hinds on Oct. 24, 1933, in St. Lucy, Barbados.
Cherishing her memory are children Roosevelt Bowen and Angella Hardy; siblings Wemberly (Denise) Bowen and Esther Bowen; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother Gladston Hinds.
A celebration of her life will take place Friday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Christ Chapel New Testament, 220 Dixwell Ave., with calling hours from 9 – 11 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
