Mary E. Johnson 73 of New Haven passed away June 19, 2012, at the Masonic Care in Wallingford, CT.
Born to the late McKenely and Mary Lee Peterson on April 8, 1939 in Parkersburg, NC. Mary leaves to cherish her memory; daughters Darilyn Best of New Haven, Vera Best Bell of NC and Amanda Pender of GA; brother, Wilbert Peterson of New Haven; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who loved her. She was predeceased by sister Roberta Collwell. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511.
