Mildred D. Mullings, 63, of New Haven; born June 25, 1952 in Hartsville, SC to Annette Dawson and the late Joel Dawson, passed away October 21, 2015 in New Haven.
Mildred had worked as a CNA. She enjoyed visits to the Casino and listening to Gospel and Jazz music. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother Annette Dawson of SC; beloved husband David Mullings of New Haven; son Derrick Mullings of New Haven; brothers James (Virginia), Johnnie (Betty) and Monroe Dawson of SC, Roy Dawson (Pho) of GA and Ricky Dawson of New Haven; sisters Mae (Marion) Bailey of SC and Patricia A. Dawson of New Haven; granddaughter Malyiah Mullings of New Haven and a host of family and friends. Mildred was predeceased by her 4 brothers. A Celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, October 29 at 11:00 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services; 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation on Thursday from 9 – 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven.
