Nettie Skinner, 100 of New Haven, CT passed away on Thursday September 30, 2010. Born to the late Frank Peterson and Carrie Comeback Peterson in Kingston, NY on June, 8, 1910. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Joan Allen of Bronx, NY, Paula and Marion Skinner of New Haven, CT; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Allen Skinner; sons, Allen Jr., Frank and Gordon Skinner and brother, Percy Peterson. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday October 4, 2010 9AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511. Interment will be in Hamden Plains.
