Pamela “Ms. U.S.A.” Caddell, 43, of New Haven CT, departed this life on January 12, 2011. She was born in New Haven, CT on August 30, 1967 to Fannie and Chester Caddell. She graduated from Lee High School in 1985. Pam was a committed employer of Schick Manufacturing Inc for the past 11 years. In addition to her parents, Pam will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by her children; Desmond Caddell and Thomas Boyd Jr of New Haven, CT; and a grandson, Desmond Caddell Jr. Pamela is also survived by a sister, Priscilla Lacey; brothers, James Lacey (Darlene) and Jarvis Caddell; fiance, John Morangello; stepsons, Anthony and Donovan Morangello; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Dinea Lacey.
A celebration of Pamela’s life and legacy will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew’s UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
