Pearlie Boykin, 66

Pearlie Boykin, 66, of New Haven; born March 16, 1949 in Camden, SC to the late Eugene Boykin, Sr. and Helen Gary Boykin, passed away on November 15, 2015.

She was a retired employee of the City of New Haven who was known for her catering. Pearlie enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She leaves to cherish her memory; sons Thomas (Regina) Boykin and Clarence (Marlo) Boyd of New Haven; brothers Eugene Boykin, Ronald Boykin and Kevin Boykin of New Haven; sisters Vivian(Demango) Lambert of Meriden, Sherry Lopez and Helen Boykin of New Haven; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Eugene Boykin, Jr., John Boykin and Terrence Boykin and sisters Patsy Harris and Susan Hooks. A Celebration of her life will take place on Monday November 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church; 782 Orchard Street, New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation on Monday at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven.
