Richard Joseph Carlos Eichler, 26, of New Haven, departed this life April 5, 2013, victim of a shooting.
He was born in New Haven, February 9, 1987 to Carlos Cabral and the late Carolyn Grant. He was the son of Marjorie Eichler.
He attended Eli Whitney Vocational Technical High School and Wilbur Cross High School.
He is survived by his children, Analiyah Eichler and Chants Stanley; sisters, Tera, Darnella and Tanisha Grant of New Haven, Carlette Grant of CA, Emily, Vanessa, Melissa, Jolie, and Zoe Eichler and Chantel Heyward all of New Haven, Veronica Eichler of Derby and Sonia Eichler of East Hartford; brothers, Carlos, Steven, Eric, Romelo and Sam Eichler all of New Haven, Antonio Heyward of New Haven and Dennis Eichler (Jenelle) of MD; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Monique and Diana Eichler.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Church, 230 Temple St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 – 10:00 A.M.
