Roland K. Snape, 96, of New Haven, passed away Nov. 7, 2017.
He was born in St. Mary’s Parish, Jamaica to the late Norman and Ethlyn Snape on Dec. 5, 1920. He was employed as a construction worker at Blakeslee in New Haven for many years.
Roland leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Kevin, Keith, Karl, and Rodney Snape; daughters, Kathy (Bernard) Hailey, Kim Snape, and Rema
(Jean) Larmae; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty K. Brown Snape; brother, Alten Snape; and sister, Verna Vasell.
A celebration of his life will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at Dixwell Avenue United Church of Christ, 217 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511.
