Salvadore S. Edwards Sr., 57, of New Haven, passed away on March 19, 2013.
Salvadore was born to Betty (Sessler) Edwards and the late Henry Edwards Sr. and on August 31, 1955 in Winter Haven, FL. He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Salvadore S. Edwards Jr., Thomas S. Edwards, Casey S. Edwards; daughters, Rondsheba SD Ali of New Haven, Amber Edwards of Woodbridge, Belinda S. Edwards of Willimantic, Emperess S. Edwards of New Haven; brothers, Curtis L. Edwards of FL., Henry Edwards Jr., Michael E. Edwards, Tony S. Edwards, Gerard L. Edwards all of New Haven; sisters, Candy M. Edwards, Shirley C. Frazier, both of New Haven; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, wife, Gwendolyn Edwards; brother, Anthony J. Edwards. A Celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11AM at Varick AME Church, 246 Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT. Friends may call Thursday from 10 – 11AM at the church.
