Shirley Brown, 77 of New Haven, CT passed away March 6, 2010. She was born in Suffolk, VA on December 22, 1932 to the late Daniel Harrell and Roxanna Clanton-Harrell. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory; son, David (Elaine) Harrell of West Haven, Ct; daughter, Beverly Harrell of New Haven, CT; brother, Walter (Lisa) Harrell of New Haven, CT; sisters, Louise Kee of New Haven, CT, Bernice Taylor of Suffolk, VA; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by husband Peter Brown, sisters Barbara Wilson, Vivian Blount. Friends and family may call on Wednesday March 10 at Howard K. Hill Funeral Home, 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT from 5 – 7PM. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday March 11, 2010 11AM at Sweet Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 57 Farren Avenue, New Haven, CT. Interment will take place at Hamden Plains.
