Tamara D. Gatison, 30, of New Haven, departed this life October 15, 2012.
Born in New Haven, CT, March 4, 1982, she was the daughter of Leroy Gatison and Benita Newman.
Tamara was a faithful member of New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, where Rev. James Newman is Pastor.
She was employed at Maplewood Health Care Center as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and also at Save-A-Lot as a Sales Clerk.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Malliki Bloodworth; brothers, Marlon Sweeney, Terrence Newman and Tyler McKay; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Tamara’s life will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St., New Haven.
