Tyrone D. Henderson, 72, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on Aug. 1, 2017.
Mr. Henderson was born in Goshen, Va. on Oct. 2, 1944, a son of the late Russell Henderson and Myrtle Thomas Henderson. He was a self-employed painter and would often offer rides to the elderly and others in need.
Mr. Henderson leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Sean L. Clarke (Lidgia); sisters, Dorothy Minor Marion (Phillip) and Wanda Ortiz (George); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Tyrus and Tyrees Henderson; and a sister, Carolyn Shepard.
A celebration of Mr. Henderson’s life and legacy will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Burial will be private. Online guestbook available at curvinkcouncil.com
