Public Hearings: The Finance Committee solicits testimony from members of the general public regarding the proposed City Budget. Public Hearing locations are listed below.

The Public Safety Committee of the New Haven Board of Alders will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 18 at 6 p.m. in the Alder Chamber of City Hall, 165 Church St., re:
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT OFFICE OF POLICY AND MANAGEMENT FOR A CRIME ANALYSIS GRANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000.00 TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT LONGEVITY PROGRAM AT THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE SERVICE AND TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS AND CONTRACTS AS NECESSARY.
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT OFFICE OF POLICY AND MANAGEMENT FOR A JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) EQUIPMENT GRANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000.00 TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT LONGEVITY PROGRAM AT THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE SERVICE AND TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS AND CONTRACTS AS NECESSARY.
