$3.7M Incoming In Student Scholarships At Albertus

More members of Generation Alpha may be able to afford an Albertus Magnus college degree — thanks to $3.7 million in new donations going towards student scholarships.

The Catholic college announced in a Tuesday press release that three alumni have committed more than $3 million to fund scholarships for incoming students.

The alumni are Janice Roman, of the class of 1959, and Kathleen Pendergast Hollowell and Tess McGuinness Torrey, both of whom graduated in 1968.

I hope this gift can provide others — especially other first-generation students, as I was — invaluable financial support to pursue their dreams, and discover and nurture their unique skills,” Torrey said.
