Three New Haven students have had Covid-19 cases confirmed in the first two days of the school year.
The students attend Davis Street, Edgewood, and Beecher magnet schools.
As a result, nine Davis students, three Edgewood students, and six Beecher students will undergo 10-day quarantines as the school system followed Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and state guidelines, according to schools spokesperson Justin Harmon.
The system boned up on those guidelines before schools opened Monday, as Covid-19 cases are expected to occur in classrooms here as they have around the country.
