Superior Court judges will soon be trained in how to deal with animal cruelty cases in the aftermath of the strangling of Branford pit bull Desmond.
That fact emerged as “Justice for Desmond” supporters attended a state Capitol press conference on a bill that would have the state appoint advocates to court cases involving animal cruelty.
