The city will close the Grand Avenue Bridge for repairs this week, Monday Dec. 2 through Friday Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Alternate routes, according to a city press release:
• “If traveling east on Grand Avenue: take a left onto Front Street, a right onto Middletown Avenue to Foxon Boulevard, take right onto Quinnipiac Avenue.
• “If traveling west on East Grand: take a left onto Quinnipiac Avenue, right onto East Ferry Street, to Ferry Street, left onto Grand Avenue.
• “For information call 203 – 946-7700.”
