As a community, our thoughts, shared sadness and prayers are with the family of our departed resident and with everyone suffering from this disease. Please take this seriously. Please stay away from others,” he said in the release.

On Monday, Hamden’s confirmed cases rose to 29. As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, they had risen to 49, according to a post Leng made on his Facebook page.
