Cafe Amici is expanding their hold on Hamden, as is local mega landlord Mandy Management, according to the town’s most recent property transactions.
Check out the chart below to read through those sales, which include the purchase of 1640 Whitney Ave, a former wine bar, by the owners of Cafe Amici. Cafe Amici is the Italian restaurant nestled next door at 1670 Whitney Ave, which currently has one partner location, Tavern Amici, in North Haven.

Meanwhile, Mandy Management has bought up yet another apartment complex in town under the title ACBD Investments DE LLC.
Mandy purchased that property, a four-family building stationed at 641 Newhall St, on Feb. 10, just four days before a three-alarm fire destroyed another 22-unit apartment complex the real estate agency owns in Hamden. That building, 42 Warner St., will be demolished.
