The city has indefinitely closed Lighthouse Point Park due to damage caused by Tropical Storm Isaias.
“There is currently no power at the park,” city communciations chief Gage Frank wrote in a release issued Friday morning.
“As a result, the lighthouse is without power, and there are no working bathrooms because there is no power for the sewage injection pumps. Tree damage is widespread, and for the safety of residents and visitors, the park will remain closed until further notice.”
