Police Monday identified the 35-year-old Hamden man who was shot dead early Saturday on Shelton Avenue.
His name was Curtis McCray Jr.
Responding to a ShotSpotter report of a gunshot, police found McCray “suffering from multiple gunshot wounds” between Goodrich and Read Streets, according to police spokeswoman Shayna Kendall.. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Kendall asked anyone with information about the incident to contact detectives at 203 – 946-6304.
