Someone knifed the man in his back near his home, Duff said. “Arriving emergency responders found the man in a Whalley Avenue business driveway” near his home. “On scene, the assault victim was unresponsive and bleeding heavily.”
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
Duff asked anyone with information about the incident to call detectives at 203 – 946-6304. Callers may remain anonymous.
My condolences to the loved ones of the man who lost his life. We need to stop the violence. If you have any information about violence or potential violence, please speak up to the authorities. If you are afraid to speak directly to the authorities, reach out to Ice The Beef or other anti-violence groups, or a religious leader, or a community leader and ask them to support you in getting the info to the investigating detectives. Rally, march, organize with your neighborhood to say no more, not one more life lost to violence.
