Mayor Elicker:

You have accepted money from the New haven Democracy Fund which limits contributions to $390 per primary or election. In anticipation of a primary many donors contributed the maximum to your campaign. However, the primary was never held. Now, more than 50 of those donors have exceeded the $390 limit, in some cases giving an additional $390, to your campaign. While this might be perfectly legal do you think that in keeping with the spirit of the Democracy Fund, which tries to limit the influence of large donors, that perhaps you should return these contributions since there was no primary this year?

Mr. Elicker, let's follow the money and see how many deals he has made to pull off winning. Our rights do not matter. Using government to win politicizing department's like police only puts Pd in danger or those in working class communities.
