Request for Proposal for Fay Miller Center

Specifications:

The specifications outline the requirements for cleaning services of the LULAC Head Start Inc. — Fay Miller Center building where services will be rendered.
Services shall commence after 5:30 P.M. – 5 days per week
Weekends shall be as required.
All items listed to be performed per visit unless otherwise noted

Entry Vestibule:
Dust ceiling lines
Vacuum carpeting- Backpack vacuum corners

Office Hallways & Reception Area:
Vacuum and wet mop vinyl flooring
Dust ceiling lines (especially high points) – One (1) time per month
Dust picture frames – One (1) time per month
Dust window sills of offices — One (1) time per month
Remove trash – Replace liners as required

Executive Area:
Vacuum all carpeting
Remove trash- Replace liners as required
Dust all picture frames – One (1) time per month
Dust ceiling lines
Dust bases of chairs – One (1) time per month
Dust window sills in the offices containing windows
Sanitize carpeting by shampooing 2X a year.

Administration Area: Human Resources, Registration, etc.
Vacuum all carpeting
Backpack vacuum under all desks and corners- One (1) time per week
Remove trash – Replace liners as required
Dust all pictures frames- One (1) time per month
Dust ceiling lines
Dust bases of chairs – One (1) timer per month
Dust window sills where applicable
Sanitize carpeting by shampooing 2X a year.
 
Social Worker Area:
Vacuum and wet mop vinyl flooring
Remove trash- Replace liners as required
Dust all picture frames – One (1) time per month
Dust bases of chairs — One (1) time per month

Nurses Office:
Vacuum and wet mop vinyl flooring
Remove trash- Replace liners as required
Dust all picture frames- One (1) time per month
Dust bases of chairs — One (1) time per month

Adult Bathrooms – (5):
Clean toilets and sink using bleach
Clean mirrors
Vacuum and wet mop vinyl flooring
Remove trash – Replace liners daily
Vacuum ceiling vents as required. Wash vents four (4) times per year

Conference Rooms:
Vacuum all carpeting
Backpack vacuum under furniture and corners- One (1) time per month
Remover trash- Replace liners as required
Dust all picture frames – One (1) time per month
Dust bases of chairs – One (1) time per month
Dust window sills where applicable
Sanitize carpeting by shampooing 2X a year.

Blue Line floor:
Dust, mop, and wash vinyl flooring

Infant/ Toddler Rooms- Room A, B, C, D, E, and F:
Clean toilets and sink using bleach
Clean mirrors
Wash walls and dividers around toilets
Vacuum and wet mop vinyl flooring
Vacuum carpeting
Backpack vacuum carpeting as required
Remove trash- Replace liners daily
Dust ceiling lines (especially high points) – One (1) time per month.
Dust all picture frames – One (1) time per month.


Dust window sills where applicable – One (1) time per month.
Sanitize carpeting in infant/toddler by shampooing monthly.
Pre-School Classrooms: Qty. (7):
Clean toilets and sink using bleach
Clean mirrors
Wash walls and dividers around toilets
Vacuum and wet mop vinyl flooring
Vacuum carpeting
Backpack vacuum carpeting as required
Remove trash- Replace liners daily
Dust ceiling lines (especially high points) – One (1) time per month
Dust all picture frames – One (1) time per month
Dust window sills where applicable – One (1) time per month
Sanitize carpeting by shampooing all carpeting every 3 months 

Kitchen/Pantry:
Wash sink, counter top, and table
Vacuum and wet mop all vinyl flooring
Remove trash – Replace liners daily
Dust ceiling lines – One (1) time per month

Miscellaneous:
Clean blue ventilation duct work and exposed piping:
Wash return ducts — White: 
Wash and disinfect children’s trash pails: 
Strip and wax all vinyl flooring: 2X a year. 
Strip and wax blue line floor one 3 X a year. 
Once a month please sanitize all light switches and door handles center wide. Also keyboards where applicable. This also includes Executive Director’s office.
 
Notes:
Client to supply trash dumpster – Service to notify management if dumpster is full
When shampooing carpeting, client to move all material from carpets
When stripping vinyl flooring, client to move all material from floor
Trash liners supplied by client

The above-mentioned items are included in the contract submitted to LULAC Head Start Inc.
