It’s that spooky time of year again and this Friday (Oct. 25) from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. all New Haven children and families are invited to LEAP’s annual Halloween Festival. There will be pumpkin painting, games galore and the LEAP haunted house.
The event at 31 Jefferson St. will feature trick or treating at the houses of neighbors on Lyon and William Streets. For the last five years our neighbors have joined with LEAP and opened their doors and given out candy to trick-or-treaters on the Friday before Halloween.
All New Haven children and their parents and guardians are welcome. You do not need to be in LEAP to participate.
Because hundreds of children and family members participate, candy donations are needed to make sure there is enough for everyone. Donors can bring store-bought candy to the LEAP Community Center (@ 31 Jefferson St.) by noon on Friday.
Pagan fests , OK. Christmas Trees, crosses, menorahs , bad. Ain't that how it goes Neo-Pagans? No wonder Christianity is on the wane worldwide.
