Dixwell volunteers, in conjunction with the cops, are gearing up for a massive distribution of meals to hungry people on Thanksgiving, in memory of recently departed community leader Mae Ola Riddick.
Organizers need donated food. And they need volunteers to distribute food at the substation on Wednesday afternoon Nov. 25; and to seniors’ homes on Thanksgiving morning.
