I wonder what the rationale is for continuously selling crack cocaine to users who only get more and more broken down as time progresses. How can money be so much of a temptation that dealers/distributors are willing to give away any "soul" they may have for material wealth? Surely witnessing a customer become worse and worse before your very eyes has a debilitating effect on yourself as you are THERE, in the moment, supplying the primary element causing their destruction; and the destruction of their families. I suppose one can become so drugged with greed that they may actually have hatred for the user to whom they sell. Perhaps the dealers are just as sick as the users. Perhaps we are all just as sick as the sickest among us.

RC: Are they really any worse than people who sell liquor?

UE/TH: I personally do regard those drugs just as harmful as crack, but there is something about how the crack vapors inhabit your entire being. Users call it a "blast"for a reason. There are people who put just a little too much crack in the pipe, suck and hold it in so long that they pass out and/or die at that moment. Potheads often hold weed smoke in their lungs for as long as possible... so crackheads often do the same... and it is an utterly insane thing to do.

The word sanity has never been used parallel with any addiction. Any time a substance has that much power over your mind and body, you are no longer completely sane. Most, not all, but most do not care what it is doing to a person. They figure if a user doesnt get it from them they will get it from someone else. Might as well be them. It's all sad, but true.. I speak from experience.
