Update: 3 Men Shot

Police are investigating a triple-shooting Thursday afternoon that left a 34-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

The shooting took place near Lloyd and Exchange streets in Fair Haven.

Two shooting victims were taken to the hospital after police and ambulance crews responded to the scene. The 34-year-old man is in extremely critical condition,” while the second victim, who is 36, is in stable condition with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the hand,” reported police spokesman Capt. Anthony Duff.

Detectives remain on scene and are asking anyone with information to contact the New Haven Police Department at 203 – 946-6304,” Duff wrote in a release.

On Thursday evening, a third victim believed to have been part of the incident — a 20-year-old Waterbury man — showed up at Yale New Haven Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
