Members of the Board of Alders plan to station themselves at the theater to welcome patrons at events through Jan. 1 as part of a third annual Community Food Drive to benefit food pantries throughout New Haven. They’re asking the public to bring food donations to the theater (at 247 College St.) or to one of three other drop-off spot: the Aldermanic Chambers at City Hall, Crest Jaguar, or the Whitney Center.
