Police have identified the man shot dead Monday night at Dixwell Avenue and Henry Street.
He is 46-year-old Troy Clark of West Haven.
Off-duty police Capt. Anthony Duff came upon the shooting while driving through the neighborhood. He chased after the shooter — and ended up getting shot twice himself.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
