Man Shot; Arrest Made

(Updated) Police are investigating a report of gunshots fired early Thursday On Long Wharf.

The gunfire took place around the Terminal 110 nightspot at 12:22 a.m., according to police.

A driver fled the scene in a white Honda.

Officers located the Honda and sought to stop it, in the area of Greenwich and 3rd Street. The driver ignored officer’s signals to pull over before eventually coming to stop.” Inside the police found a 22-year-old man from Norwalk inside; he’d been hit by gunfire. and it was discovered that one of the passengers, a 22-year-old Norwalk man, was inside and had been struck by gunfire. Suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his groin,” he was taken to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

The driver, who is 47, is charged for now with motor vehicle offenses as police continue to investigate the incident.
