Zani Imetovski said he doesn’t support a pay raise for the town’s top elected official, that residents should be able to vote on the school
and town budgets each year and that his Republican opponent hasn’t done enough to “brand” the town.
Imetovski, a 23-year-old Democrat, is challenging two-term Republican incumbent Kurt Miller for Seymour First Selectman. On Monday morning, he appeared as a guest on “Valley Navel Gazing,” the Valley Independent Sentinel‘s weekly talk show on WNHH radio. Miller appeared last Monday.
Imetovski may be young, but he is fired up. To listen to what he had to say, which includes several call-ins and a duel of political wills with Miller, click on the audio above. Miller calls at around the 30-minute mark.
