New Haven Mayor Toni Harp has declared an emergency parking ban so the city can clear snow off the streets during and after the predicted overnight storm.
That means no parking on downtown streets. It means no parking on the odd side of residential street.
Here are all the details, from the city:
Mayor Toni N. Harp has announced A CITYWIDE PARKING BAN in effect on all streets in New Haven starting at 11PM tonight, SUNDAY (3/3/19) and will be in effect in zones A & B until 12PM noon MONDAY (3/4/19) and remain in effect in zone C until further notice. Please stay alert for updates as conditions develop.
The ban will include all zones;
ZONE A: DOWNTOWN AREA — all streets bounded by MLK/State/George/Howe, both sides
ZONE B: POSTED SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES CITYWIDE — both sides
ZONE C: ALL RESIDENTIAL AREAS — No parking on the odd side
On a ZONE C residential street: Don’t be the ODD car on the block!
The parking ban on all posted snow routes will be enforced with an overnight tag/tow operation starting at 11PM.

Park New Haven Garage Availability:
The Temple Street Garage and Crown Street Garage will be available from 8PM Sunday until 8PM Monday for a fee of $3.
Granite Square Garage is available 8PM Sunday to 8PM Monday for $0.
