Snow Parking Ban Ends At 3 PM

The city received eight inches of snow Sunday. As clean-up proceeds a parking ban remains in effect until 3 p.m.

Mayor Justin Elicker announced a citywide parking ban will end Monday at 3 p.m.

That means the parking is banned on both sides of the street downtown, on both sides of the street on snow emergency routes, and on the odd-numbered side of the street in residential areas.

The city towed over 200 vehicles that were parked in violation of the ban, according to emergency operations chief Rick Fontana; 239 ticketed were issued.
