New Haven Parking Authority Project #20 – 028

Bids due September 23, 2021 at 3:00 P.M.

Bid Documents will be available beginning September 1, 2021 at no cost by downloading from the BuildingConnnected FTP system website. Contact Maryann Bigda of Turner Construction Company at 203 – 712-6070 for BuildingConnnected FTP system access information.

The work mainly includes demolition and disposal of damaged area, scaffolding, concrete repair (including color and texture matching), wood timber bumper guard installation, metal railing installation, and temporary traffic control devices, together with all incidental work thereto and in accordance with Bid Documents.

Bidders must submit with their Bid on forms provided a list of their Intended Subcontractors, including:

a. the set-aside use of DAS-certified Small Business Enterprises (“SBE”) for a requirement of at least 30% of the Bidder’s entire contract value;

b. the set-aside use of DAS-certified Minority owned Business Enterprises (“MBE”), Women owned Business Enterprises (“WBE”) and/or Disabled owned Business Enterprises (“DisBE”) for a requirement of at least 25% of the Bidder’s entire contract value. Please note that the MBE, WBE, and/or DisBE are part of the SBE; and

c. Independent of the SBE/MBE/WBE/DisBE requirements herein, a minimum of 10% of the Bidder’s entire contract value must include businesses having a place of business within the City of New Haven limits.
