The police have arrested a 26-year-old New Haven man for allegedly murdering someone back in 2011.
Police Monday arrested the man on a murder warrant in connection with the April 20, 2011, shooting death of 23-year-old Issah Gantt in a vestibule at the Church Street South housing complex.
The suspect “was apprehended without commotion at his home on Pardee Street,” according to a release from police spokesman Officer David Hartman.
Veteran homicide detective Michael Wuchek (who is retiring in August) led the investigation. Click here to read more about the Gantt murder; click here and here to read about some of the cases Wuchek has solved over the years.
