Marcia was a dear friend who sponsored innumerable musical events and informal jam sessions at her home, at Yale, in Vermont and elsewhere. Her energy in support of Stan Wheeler's musical journey, both during and after his life, was remarkable. Her hospitality knew no bounds, and she was a gracious hostess. Her beloved pooch, Ella, was just like her: outgoing, eager and loving. Her reporting skill was obviously legendary. I will remember her as "one sharp cookie!" and I will miss her deeply. The world will miss her.
I only knew Marcia from PZC meetings, yet find her to be a remarkable human being. Conversations over the years were often poignant. I will miss her; she had a depth that was engaging and heart warming.
