Juanita Cooper, 64

Juanita Cooper, 64, of Shelton Ave.; New Haven, peacefully passed away August 12, 2013, at her residence.

She was born February 17, 1949 in New Haven, CT to the late Clarence Mosley and Gladys D. Keen. Juanita was a faithful member of Varick Memorial AME Zion Church. She formerly worked at Saint Raphael’s Hospital as a Phlebotomist and worked for both Dr. Timpson and Dr. Massie as a Medical Assistant. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Toni and Tanisha Cooper, Monique Carr-Cooper, Melissa Phillips; sons, Anthony Cooper, Darien Carr-Cooper, Jesse Phillips; sisters, Maxine Mosley Keen-Billie, Vanessa Mosley Felder; 13 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by sister, Sylvia Mosley. A celebration of her life will take place Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 6:30PM at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard Street, New Haven with calling hours at the church from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.
