Mary R. Browning, 83, of New Haven, passed away June 26, 2018.
She was born in Union, S.C. on April 25, 1935, to the late George and Geneva Henderson Browning. Mary retired as a pharmaceutical technician with Bayer after 33 years of dedicated service.
Affectionately known as “Aunt Mary”, she played an important role in raising her beloved nieces and nephews. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, brother, Jesse (Ernestine) Browning; sister, Bessie Jenkins; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harvest Browning and Claude Browning.
A celebration of her life will take place Monday at 11 a.m. at Bible Gospel Center, 143 Leeder Hill Dr, Hamden, CT 06517. Friends may call Monday at the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
