Finance Committee Meeting Agenda — March 14

The Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 14th, 2024, at 6:00 P.M, in the Aldermanic Chambers, 165 Church St., New Haven to hear the following:

1. To hear PUBLIC TESTIMONY concerning the Mayor’s Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 202425.

2. A workshop to review portions of the Annual City Budgets proposed for the fiscal year commencing on July 1, 2024. The following City Departments will be heard:

ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE # 1 AUTHORIZING BUDGET TRANSFER #133241 TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM EXPENDITURE RESERVE ACCOUNT ($500,000), ASSESSOR’S LAPSED SALARY ACCOUNT ($100,000), COMMUNITY SERVICES LAPSED SALARY ACCOUNT ($50,000), YOUTH & RECREATION LAPSED SALARY ACCOUNT ($50,000), TRAFFIC & PARKING LAPSED SALARY ACCOUNT ($50,000), AND FINANCE LAPSED SALARY ACCOUNT ($50,000) INTO CORPORATION COUNSEL LEGAL SERVICE BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $800,000 AND AMENDING THE AGREEMENTS OF BERCHEM MOSES; HALLORAN & SAGE; HOWD & LUDORF; KARSTEN & TALLBERG; MACCINI, VOCCIO & JORDAN, MILANO & WANAT; AND SUSMAN, DUFFY & SEGALOFF, IN EXCESS OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
