LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID: Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven, NEW HAVEN is requesting licensed and insured general contractor bids for their property located at 253 Columbus Ave. New Haven.
Scope includes: Replacing (2) Trane 12.5‑ton outdoor dual circuit condensing units. Removing (2) Trane direct condensing units and discarding offsite. Further information and a detailed scope of work as well as unit specs will be provided at the walk through.
Davis Bacon wages apply for this project. Submitting contractors are to include sales tax and Davis Bacon wages in Bids. Submitting contractors are to also be aware that Chapters 12 ¼ & 12 ½ of the New Haven Code of Ordinances & Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1968, as amended, and associated regulations at 24 CFR Part 75 apply to this project. Refer to project specification & attachments for further information and requirements outlined by the City of New Haven. Submitting contractors are to also be aware that a preconstruction meeting will be held prior to the start of any work with the City’s Commission on Equal Opportunity to review all requirement details as part of the project. MBE, SBE and WBE businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
A bidding site meeting will be held at 253 Columbus Ave., New Haven on March 18, 2024 at 11:00am. Detailed scope of work will be distributed to attending GCs and/or can be emailed. All questions must be in writing, due by 5 pm on March 25, 2024. All questions will be answered in writing to EMAIL by March 29, 2024. All bids are due by April 5, 2024.
