In accordance with Section 9 – 224a of the Connecticut General Statutes and Article III, Sec. 7 of the City Charter, this notice is the calling of election. No election will take place since there was only one (1) candidate. Therefore, as of close of business Friday October 14th , 2022, Claudia Herrera is declared the winner and will be the next Alder of Ward 9.
